Govina Taylor...

was born smack dab in the middle of a full solar eclipse and that is a verifiable fact. In the dark ages it was believed that this was how demons hitched a ride into the world. The customary practice, in the event of such a birth, was to promptly dispose of the demonic babies in the most convenient way possible. Luckily for Govina, this practice is now highly frowned upon.

As the name, Govina, would imply, she was born to a pair of gypsy craftsfolk skilled in the arts of divination and fortunetelling. Yet somehow, they failed to see her coming. She slipped so effortlessly into this life that she actually slept through her own birth. The midwives tickled her feet and she awoke laughing or so the story goes.

Her first word was "crayon".

She currently lives in Fayetteville, NC and works at American Tattoo Society.

When she’s not tattooing, she writes and creates digital art, procreate stamps and other creepy handmade things that can be purchased through her online store, Porto Lumen Studio on Etsy.
